Make a haunted doll house for Halloween

Halloween is just around the corner. If you want to try something different this year for your Halloween doll display, try your hand at making a haunted doll house! It is easy to hang some spooky stuff on a regular doll house to add some Halloween flair, but another fun project is to convert a cardboard box into a haunted house.

Make a Haunted Doll House from a Cardboard Box

For this article, I created a haunted house for my various Halloween Barbies using an empty cardboard box. This project is so easy even a child can have fun making a haunted house for her dolls.

Inexpensive Halloween Miniatures at Craft Stores

At Michael's in Bellevue and Party City on Charlotte Pike in Nashville, I found maky inexpensive Halloween miniatures that made perfect haunted house accessories. Using an empty cardboard box, I taped or pinned back the box flaps where I wanted them, added my miniatures from Michael's and Party City and a few Halloween Barbie dolls, and voila! my dolls had a haunted house! You can see the results in the slideshow.
