As January comes to a close, our New Years Resolutions may need some support. The first few weeks are full of vigor and enthusiasm for changes to your lifestyle. As progress slows and change becomes harder, these resolutions can need some assistance. The Naperville Public Library programs are here to help keep your goals for 2013 on track.
The Healthy, Wealthy and Wise program seeks to keep local residents on track for their family's goals. The program will help residents develop and sustain a healthy physical, financial and mental lifestyle.
According to Naperville Public Library Director, John Spears, this program is "unique community-wide combination of education, motivation and tracking. The Library is partnering with a variety of community organizations to become an unbiased center for health and financial information. Not only will the Library present programs but we will also be a source of information about other educational programs in the community.”
On January 31, 95th Street Library will host an event to kick-start this program. The event includes:
- 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.: Health and Financial Information Fair.
- 7 p.m.: Well known Naperville financial advisor Alice Wood, keynote address.
- Free tracking journals to help you track your health, wellness and financial goals for 2013.
- First 25 people who visit the Healthy, Wealthy and Wise informational table at the kickoff event will receive a free pedometer..
No more excuses not to meet you and your family's 2013 goals. Get on track to success with Naperville Public Library.
