TNA Impact Wrestling has not only moved back to Universal Orlando to tape its “Impact Wrestling” shows there, but they are also pre-taping numerous shows up to a full month in advance. That means there are going to be major spoilers for events that will not be shown on TV until January. Here are some major “Impact Wrestling” spoilers from the Dec. 4 taping.
There is currently a TNA World Championship tournament underway and the taping from tonight shows that the final two men in the tournament were Jeff Hardy and Magnus and that Magnus won the tournament and is the new TNA World Champion. It appears that Magnus might have turned bad as he was with Dixie Carter at points on the show.
AJ Styles also made his big return at the television taping, jumping the rails with his TNA World Championship belt and challenging Magnus to a unification match. Magnus agreed, much to the chagrin of Dixie Carter, to face Styles at “TNA Genesis.”
Jeff Hardy, who lost in the finals, teamed up with Sting in what he thought was a tag team match against Ethan Carter III, Rockstar Spud and the BroMans, and after the two lost he put over Sting in a promo. Jeff Hardy then said he was tired of how Dixie Carter was running the company and said he quit TNA Impact Wrestling and would never be back, before leaving.
It also appears that Gunner or James Storm will turn bad. Storm blamed Gunner for an attack on him and then in a tag team match, Gunner teamed with Kurt Angle to battle Beer Money, reuniting for possibly one night only. Madison Rayne also made her TNA Wrestling return to beat Gail Kim.
These TNA Impact Wrestling spoilers will air on television at the end of December and beginning of January, leading to “Genesis,” which takes place on Jan. 16, 2014.
