Bigpoint announced today that its upcoming free-to-play MMO Battlestar Galactica Online, will feature some major characters from the Syfy TV series. The inclusion of these characters is to help "create a deep connection to the mythology of the Syfy series," according to Bigpoint CEO Heiko Hubertz.
Human characters will include William "Admiral" Adama (Edward James Olmos), Kara “Starbuck” Thrace (Katee Sackhoff), Lee “Apollo” Adama (Jamie Bamber), and Galen “Chief” Tyrol (Aaron Douglas). Cylon characters will include Number Six (Tricia Helfer), Number Eight (Grace Park), Number One (John Cavil/portrayed by Dean Stockwell), Number Two (Leoben Conoy/portrayed by Callum Keith Rennie).
More information about the talents of Battlestar Galactica Online is expected to be revealed at GDC Europe at next Tuesday's keynote, which features Heiko Hubertz as the speaker.
