This Saturday night at Bally's Atlantic City & LIVE for the WORLD to see on GFL.tv, rising Middleweight prospect Patrick Majewski (20-1) will take on tough Philadelphia veteran Jamaal "Da Truth" Davis in a 10 round Middleweight showdown.
The highly touted Majewski is looking to establish himself as one of the top Polish fighters in the world when he steps in the ring this Saturday on GFL.tv. Majewski is riding a 3 fight winning streak defeating former world title challenger Antwun Echols (32-17-4), Chris Fitzpatrick (15-1), and tough Philadelphia native Latif Mundy (10-4). An impressive victory over the gritty Davis could position Majewski to be challenging for a world title soon.
Jamaal "Da Truth" Davis is riding a 2 fight win streak himself. Davis has been around the block facing some of the toughest competition in the Jr. Middleweight division. He has faced the likes of Peter Quillin, Joel Julio, Ossie Duran & "King" Gabriel Rosado. For Davis this fight could be the be all end all for his career. A win over Majewski could propel him into the ring with another big named fighter but a loss could mark the end of a long & hard traveled career.
In another crossroads showdown, Chuck "The Professor" Mussachio of Wildwood, NJ will take on Lionell "Lonnie B" Thompson in an 8 round Light Heavyweight attraction.
Mussachio, a full time guidance counselor, is looking to position himself for a big fight and a win over Thompson could land him one. Mussachio rebounded from a tough loss to world rated Garrett Wilson, a fight which was very close when he was stopped in the 12th round, to defeat Billy Bailey in May of 2012. With a career plagued by inactivity & with father time catching up, Mussachio must looked to impressively dispatch of the the tough Thompson.
Thompson is looking to put an end to his two fight losing skid. His first loss to Nicholas Poulard in Canada, was filled with controversy and has had Thompson chasing a rematch for redemption since. Thompson also was stopped by surging star Sergei Kovalev. A win over Mussachio could reverse his downward slide in the rankings but a lose would be a 3rd straight.
Rounding out this exciting night of action will be Elvis Rodriguez vs. Anthony Burgin, Thomas Garcia vs. Joshua Reyes, Greg Jackson vs. Gilbert Alex Sanchez, and Anthony Presscott vs. Saud Clark. If you are not in Atlantic City don't fret because you can watch this entire card, from start to finish, LIVE on GFL.tv this Saturday night!!
