Mainstone Conservation Area

Hamlen Woods, Turkey Hill and Wayland Hills Conservation Areas make up a couple long winding pathways in the Mainstone residential district. The lands are taken care of by the Sudbury Valley Trustees and The Wayland Conservation Commission.

Hamlen Woods, the best spot mentioned according to "The Dog Lovers Companion to Boston," has 50 acres to take an hour-long walk. The trail begins off of Rice Road, there is a small lot to park your car.

For a longer hike you should check out the Wayland Hills Conservation Area. It lies down the road about a hundred yards. Take the Red Trail for an extended trip. This is an off leash trail.
