High pressure will gradually build across the state today. A cool northerly flow will lift moisture from the lakes and provide much of northeastern Ohio will partly to mostly cloudy skies today. There could even be a shower across the northeastern snow belt counties. Temperatures today will only rise to the upper 60s to low 70s.
The high pressure system will build over the area tonight and Wednesday allowing the flow across the lake to relax. It will be partly cloudy tonight with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 70s.
Wednesday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the 50s.
A weak secondary cold front will cross the area early in the day on Thursday. There could be a few clouds, but no rain is expected. Highs on Thursday will be around 70 degrees.
High pressure will gradually move to the east coast Friday and Saturday. The flow across our area will become southerly and this will allow temperatures to moderate in the mid 70s on Friday, and into the low 80s on Saturday. Both days should be dry with partly sunny skies expected.
Our next chance of rain will come on Sunday as another cold front approaches from the west.
