Maine school bus driver indicted: 10K porn pics, video rape of disabled children

John Allen Wright, 45, of Milton, Maine was indicted yesterday on six federal charges related to child sexual assault and pornography.  Wright had been under investigation in New Hampshire for possession of child pornography and in Kittery, Maine for alleged rape of a disabled child believed to be about six years old.  State law enforcement units and the FBI were involved in this case.

Wright was arrested September 1, 2011.  Police found 10,000 pornograpic images on his computer, some of which were of children.  He also had video tapes of actual sexual assaults on at least three children, one being the Kittery child and the other two from New Hampshire.  He drove a bus for disabled students and was identified as the perpetrator of the assaults on the bus. The films were created with a special camera on his glasses, and were later mailed or shipped.
