McDonald's: 10 Main St. Tonawanda (City)
McDonalds, 10 Main Street, Tonawanda (City) NY, 213-0061
Usually the drive thru service at McDonald's leaves something to be desired. Either they are rude, mix up your order, forget items you ordered or the food is cold or tastes as if it's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.
Early in the afternoon on Sunday 7/4/10 hubby and I stopped to get an iced coffee at the McDonald's drive thru located at 10 Main St. in the City of Tonawanda. While the service was a wee bit lacking at first, we were pleasantly surprised by the efficiency of the staff at the window where we picked up our food.
Even though they were out of cups for their iced coffee, they didn't tell us they didn't have the iced coffee. They simply put our iced coffees in the sweet tea cups. Score one!
Hubby and I were a little hungry, so we each ordered something. Hubby ordered a hamburger and I ordered a fillet-o-fish sandwich. Usually the hamburgers are squished and oozing ketchup and mustard. The fillet-o-fish isn't much better, having been over tartar-sauced and then microwaved so that the slice of cheese becomes one with the bun. Today, surprisingly, both items had been made fresh, and the fillet-o-fish wasn't overly tartar-sauced. The food tasted so good it reminded me of our special trips for McDonald's happy meals as a child.
Thank you to the staff at the 10 Main Street, Tonawanda location for a pleasant and tasty experience, even though you had to work the 4th of July holiday.

great info.
It's always good to hear that there are some McD's that serve food the way they are supposed to be in the advertisements.
