Carol Buddin owns and manages Main Street Antiques in the old village of Summerville, SC. It is much larger than it looks from the street, as must be the largest antique shop in Summerville. It is 6,500 square feet with a large brick warehouse in the back. Architectural antiques can be found there as well as furniture and vintage things. They have consignments and lease out space.
It is located close to Calibrie and Simply Vintage antiques shops, within walking distance. Summerville is not the small sleepy town it used to be, but it still has a lot of character and old houses. It makes a nice day trip for antique shoppers.
Carol sometimes exhibits in North Charleston’s Village Antiques Show at Park Circle. It is a good idea for antique shoppers to stop by her shop on a regular basis to see what is new for their shop. It is not hard to find since it is on "the main street" and not far from I-26.
