The SSLC 10th class students have to wait for some more days to see their exam results. Many students began searching for the results today in the Internet as they received an SMS saying the results would be announced today.
The results were to be announced today on June 15, 2011, but there is no information at the official website about the date of the exam results.The Maharashtra State Council Of Examinations (MSCE) is expected to declare the results of the SSLC 10th class exams this week.
The results of the HSC 12th exams were declared on May 27, 2011. The results can be checked at http://mahresult.nic.in/.
The SMS, which said to check the results at the official website of the Maharastra Board, spread like wildfire and parents began contacting the school asking for the same.
Reacting to the SMS R. R. Bhise, Divisional Secretary, Mumbai Board said, "The state education department decides the date of declaration of result. After the authorities decide the date we receive an official letter stating the date."
He further stated, "The messages which students are receiving are nothing but a prank. Students are on tenterhooks and some miscreants are creating panic by sending such SMS. Students will be given prior intimation of the date of declaration of results. Till then, students should not succumb to such fake messages.".
