When famed film critic Roger Ebert passed away in 2013 the world lost one of the most influential voices regarding film in the world. While he left an amazing legacy behind, director Steve James and executive producers Martin Scorsese and Steven Zaillian have crafted a documentary chronicling his life with ‘Life Itself.’

The film explores the impact and legacy of Roger Ebert's life: from his Pulitzer Prize-winning film criticism and his nearly 25 year-run with Gene Siskel on their television review show, to becoming one of the most influential cultural voices in America, and finally to Roger's heroic and inspiring battles with cancer and the resulting physical disability.

Besides the archive video footage and pictures, the entire film comes together seamlessly thanks to amazing voice over actor Stephen Stanton whose spot on impersonation of Ebert takes this film to another level and is a must see. While you may have to wait until July 4th to check it out on iTunes/OnDemand and in theaters you can check out the all new poster here now.
