For the last 3 years, Jeff McBride has been charming audiences with his artistically unique Wonderground experience at The Olive, located on East Sunset Road. Jeff McBride brings talented magicians, variety artists, body painters, musicians, burlesque stars, slam poets and belly dancers together, as a diverse performance troupe, once per month in order to showcase their multifaceted talents before receptive Las Vegas audience members . . . magicians and non-magicians, alike.
The Wonderground has been such a popular concept that it has been used--with the blessing of Jeff McBride--as a magical model for similar events in 3 other locations: Milwaukee, Wisconsin (hosted by magician Dan Pollack), Rumford, Maine (hosted by Scott Grassette), and The Wonderland in Louisville, Kentucky (hosted by Ray Smerlin).
The Wonderground is open on the third Thursday of each month. The next Wonderground event is January 17, 2013. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. at The Olive. The price for admission to The Wonderground is $10.
The Stage Show begins at 8:00 p.m. The Close-up Show begins at 9:00 p.m. The (Late) Stage Show begins at 10:00 p.m.
Audience members should plan to arrive at least 30 minutes ahead of the first performance in order to ensure their seating availability for the shows.
