Today April 10, 2014 we received several new screenshots from Wizards of the Coast's upcoming "Magic: The Gathering" video game "Magic 2015 - Duels of the Planeswalkers," along with a copy of the official trailer.
As we reported earlier today, the title is slated to hit Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, iPad, Android, and Kindle this summer, coinciding with the "Magic 2015" core set. In this latest installment you'll be able to "hunt bigger game" with Garruk, who's rumored to have a new card in "M15."
Several key new features to the game take play to "a whole new level," with "the ability to build customized decks, new booster packs with premium downloadable content, and an even more robust deck builder."
Through the years the game has become continuously refined, and previous installments have had modes such as "Archenemy," "Planechase," and "sealed deck" that make them significantly different from each other in more ways than just cards. We're looking forward to see what exciting new game play this year has to offer.
Wizards of the Coast will be showing demos of "Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015" this weekend at PAX East in Boston, Mass. and those who are attending "will have the opportunity to earn an exclusive Garruk Wildspeaker Pinny Arcade pin by demoing the new game or participating in other in-booth activities (while supplies last)." If you can't make it out to PAX East this weeken don't worry: We'll be there to check it out for you and keep you up to date with all the latest news.
