Lid Magazine, a high-end photo art publication, has teamed up with Olivia Harrison, George Harrison's widow, and published an issue featuring 36 pages of rare and unpublished photos of the former Beatle from the Harrison family personal archives.
The magazine will also include additional photos by Harry Goodwin and outtakes from the "All Things Must Pass" photo session by Barry Feinstein.
According to the magazine, most of the photos are not found in any books and will be seen for the first time in the issue. The images were selected by the magazine and Olivia Harrison to create what they describe as "a unique and unforgettable portfolio."
The October magazine will be available with two different Harrison covers. One will feature a 1965 image from the Harrison family archives. The other photo taken by Harry Goodwin in 1969 is one of Olivia’s favorite photos of her late husband.
