In a post on its Facebook page Feb. 21 headlined “Exclusiva !! Confirmado !!,” Backstage Magazine reported that Paul McCartney will play a show in Costa Rica May 2 on a tour that has yet to be officially announced.

“Minutes ago we have confirmed the visit to the country of the former bassist of the band from Liverpool! In the coming days, the responsible producer will make the official communication and the details of this event that will certainly be the most memorable in the history of the concerts in Costa Rica!,” the rough translation of the magazine's post read.

The report adds yet another rumored date to what looks like a Paul McCartney 2014 tour of the Southern Hemisphere this spring, though nothing has been officially confirmed yet by McCartney.

If the advance reports are correct, McCartney will be playing Montevideo, Uruguay on April 18, two shows at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile between April 20 and 23, April 25 at National Stadium in Lima, Peru, and a show April 28 at a venue in Quito, Ecuador.
