Major Ali and Justin Bieber do the "Lolly" dance in the video for the new song "Lolly," also featuring Juicy J. As reported at Teen Vogue on Sept. 18, 2013, it's Nick DeMoura, the Biebs backup dancer, who invented the moves.
The "Lolly" dance involves a lot of swinging and swaying of the hips and legs, bending the knees, and moving the arms. But the dance is considered hip hop. Therefore, you've got to be cool and look cool doing it. DeMoura gives a video demonstration, which is a great way to learn the moves.
In the video of Maejor Ali's "Lolly," featuring Justin Bieber and Juicy J, you get a high energy song, plenty of sexy girls, big lollipops and everyone doing the "Lolly" dance. Even though Justin is a 19-year-old kid from Canada, he's always had the moves, and this time it's more hip hop than Michael Jackson.
There's various reactions watching Maejor Ali and Justin Bieber in "Lolly." Justin can sing and dance, but it's clear he's moving more into the rapper/hip-hop arena with "Lolly." That's fine, but it's his rapper BFFs who he always seems to be with when he gets into trouble. He's clearly no longer the "My World 2.0" singer with the bowl cut. Now there's big gold chains, tattoos, baggy pants and everything that comes along with it.
