Madonna uses the n-word

Singer Madonna posted a photo of her son Rocco Ritchie on Instagram accompanied by a less than tasteful hash tag.

"No one messes with Dirty Soap! Mama said knock you out!" along with the hashtag "#disni--a." The singer posted.

The Material Girl seemed to have considered the insensitivity behind her post and decided to remove it and replace it with something a bit less duncical, "Ok let me start this again. #get off of my d--k haters!" Or maybe not so much.

Madonna’s words may have left a bad taste in the mouths of many of her fans as she decided to provide a statement to E! News today January 18.

"I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N-word on Instagram, it was not meant as a racial slur...I am not a racist. There's no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention...It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it's a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me."
