Madonna started off the New Year with an embarrassing mishap that was caught on camera, now100fm reported on Wednesday, Jan. 2. that while on a family ski trip in Gstaad, Switzerland Madge took an unexpected face plant that was caught by photographers. The photos are claimed to show the "Material Girl" landing smack dab on on her face, not once but several times while attempting to make her way to the ski slopes.
Madonna along with her 25-year-old boyfriend Brahim Zaibat and her two daughters, Lourdes, 16, and Mercy, 6, all hit the Swiss Alps together it was reported that Madonna, 54, was the only one of the group who appeared to be having to much trouble mastering the art of skiing.
It was reported that the entire family minus Madge appears to be quite at home on the snow, and that Mercy, the youngest was taking ski lessons, while big sister Lourdes flew off effortlessly on a snowboard and Madge's current love interest mastered the slopes at ease, the usually athletic Madonna only exhibited her lack of skiing skills falling several times even on flat trails.
It could be that Madonna at age 54 might be thinking she is better suited for sitting around the fireplace sipping hot chocolate while the youngsters take on the Swiss Alps without her.
