Madonna's 2012 Super Bowl halftime show: M.I.A. flips the bird, NBC apologizes

Madonna put on a huge halftime show during Sunday night's 2012 Super Bowl, and people have been buzzing about it ever since. She had a number of big stars performing with her, including The Voice mentor Cee Lo Green, Nicki Minaj, LMFAO and M.I.A. Leading up to the game (airing on channel 12 in Scottsdale), the superstar singer had promised there would be no wardrobe malfunctions like viewers experienced during Janet Jackson's 2004 Super Bowl show. The show almost went off without a hitch, but M.I.A. made sure she gave viewers something to buzz about.

Social media sites indicate that most viewers enjoyed the halftime show, with many noting how it was a almost entirely a family-friendly performance and visually appealing. However, some viewers caught a brief moment by M.I.A. during her portion of the performance, and Zap 2 It did a review of the videotape that shows she did throw in something worth buzzing about.
