Last night, millions tuned in to watch the Giants and Patriots face-off at the Super Bowl. And although the game was fun to watch, the halftime show took most of the night’s hype. Not only did fans get to see Madonna’s ageless bod and hear her timeless hits but we also got appearances from Nicki Minaj’s loveable personality, LMFAO, M.I.A (and her middle finger), and Cee-Lo Green. Performance wise, I give the show a 7/10 due to the potential lip-synching and a confusing gladiator, Egyptian theme, but fashion wise the show hit a definite 10/10.
Let’s be honest, Madonna, who is 53, stunned in her custom made Givenchy Haute Couture looks and Philip Treacy headpiece. The black minidress and gold hand-embroidered cape were the right amount of sexy and eye-catching. She accessorized with Bulgari jewels and the over-the-knee black leather Miu Miu boots which did not stop her from cart-wheeling all over the stage.
