The most anticipated 12 minutes of television sports entertainment occurred Sunday night during the Super Bowl game played in Indianapolis. Madonna fans were super charged and ready to watch this talented singer bring on the show. Several halftime performances recently have been disappointing, but Madonna knew how to entertain and keep the audience happy. Photos in the slide show to the left reflect all the fun.
Madonna managed to be dressed appropriately to a family event and put on a show that is sure to be remembered. Entering with Roman guards and entering stage dressed much like Cleopatra – Madonna opened the show. Eventually others joined in and while Nicki Minaj managed to offend with her use of the middle finger, the rest of the show seemed enjoyable. Cee Lo Green joined in the performance with his impeccable style.
Viewers loved the touch of choir and of cheerleaders, cheering to Y-O-U and L-U-V. Then when Madonna picked up the pom-poms you could see the fun begin. The cheerleading by Madonna tied into the Super Bowl theme, nicely.
Towards the end of the video, one of the songs to finish were songs that young kids will recognize from Dance Jam games. Using a few of the moves and the music clip from "Just Dance 3", "Party Rocking in the House Tonight" had kids moving and brought an air of excitement.
Check out the video to the left and enjoy the varieties of music and entertainment. Madonna did a stumble and small fall but seems to be okay. The Super Bowl Halftime Show has just had the bar raised for entertainment in the future.
