There were two commercials that Jay Leno was seen on Sunday night. In addition to being part of a Super Bowl commercial with Jerry Seinfeld, he was also part of a funny commercial with Madonna. Very simple, yet definitely funny, the two celebrities meet in an elevator for a brief exchange of star power.
Madonna working on her clipboard and Leno looking a bit awkward have the simplest of moments until Madonna’s song Like A Virgin starts playing. The audience has to look closely as it appears the superstar is actually singing or perhaps somehow performing the single. However, after a brief awkwardness the fans are enlightened that the ringtone is actually from Jay Leno’s cell phone. In a laugh out loud funny moment, the audience enjoys the awkward moment between the two entertainers before Madonna rolls her eyes and says “really” which is what everyone else is thinking too.
The commercial was for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Definitely a strong commercial with decent impact, the opportunity to have two stars in one elevator is a great way to hold the audience’s attention.
