Atlanta fans of singer/actress/director Madonna, the Material Girl spoke at the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLVI Halftime Show Press Conference at the Super Bowl XLVI Media Center on February 2, 2012 in Indianapolis, Indiana, admitting that her performance would be a dream come true!
Donning what looked like baggy harem pants, teamed with a laser cut top in a lacework pattern, topped with a cropped vest, Madonna accessorized with cutoff leather mits, a prominent cross and hoop earrings, mostly hidden by her long, loose hair.
In high spirits and more than a little nervous, Madonna admitted, because her upcoming halftime performance at the Super Bowl was much anticipated by this Midwestern girl from Detroit, Michigan.
Madonna, 53, also said that she was dedicating her performance to her father Silvio Anthony Ciccone who is a winemaker in Suttons Bay, Michigan, explaining that he was the “personification of Midwestern values.”
The Super Bowl halftime show is being put together by Jamie King and the Cirque Du Soleil. As to her performance outfits, Madonna says that “great attention to detail” has been given to her wardrobe and promises that there won’t be any “wardrobe malfunctions!”
Meanwhile, check out Madonna’s outfit and sense of style these days in my slide show. If today’s outfit was any indication of things to come, we’re in for a real treat on Sunday…
