Everyone knows that summertime is the time for beer events in Wisconsin. As Winter rolls through, local Madison area beer events may be hard to come by. This feature presents some local Wisconsin area beer events for your New Year pleasure!
- Thursday, December 29 in MADISON, Wisconsin. Sand Creek Noir special release party at Drackenberg's Cigar Bar. 7-10pm. Here is what Sand Creek had to say about the release of this special beer:
Here is what is coming to a pint glass near you! This beer is a creation of our Lead Brewer Nate Peck! This is one big beer and we are super excited to add it to our Special Reserve series! This will be coming out soon. I am sure Nate will post the specs on the beer. There will also be a limited release of barrel aged Noir in the future (in spiffy 750 ML bottles!)
- Saturday, January 7th in MINOCQUA, Wisconsin. Ice Cold Beer Festival at the Campanile Centre for the Arts from 1-5pm. Tickets are $30 if purchased in advance of the event or $35 at the door.
- Monday through Saturday, January 9-14 in APPLETON, Wisconsin. Stone Cellar Brewpub Anniversary Week. A different special every day this week.
- Wednesday, January 11th in WAUSAU, Wisconsin at Bull Falls Brewing Company. S&T Ragtime Piano and Tuba and Silent Movies Night. 7pm-close. The event should be a good opportunity to try a pint of the recently released Bull Falls Rauchbier.
- Saturday, January 21th in MADISON, Wisconsin. Isthmus Beer and Cheese Fest at 2-6pm (VIP entry at 1pm). Regular admission is $40 ($75 VIP).
