Introductory lessons exploring the sensual movements of middle eastern dance: in this class isolation's, shimmies and snake arms are just a few motions of Belly dance that we will dive into, later moving on to undulations and dance floor travel steps, with a goal of rhythmic fluidity. Solidify your dance knowledge and skills with this progressive group class. For 8 weeks, we will go over the International Bronze Level Quickstep patterns of the ISTD syllabus, the world Ballroom syllabus. You can choose to purchase a book to use as a reference. You can also choose to dance in front of a judge or teacher at the end of the series to receive a medal for your progress. (Note: after this series, we will continue on to the other dances at the Bronze Level as well, to continue progression of the International Standard style: Foxtrot, Tango & Viennese Waltz.)
