Madden 11: Team ratings

With E3 just a week or so away, EA Sports has revealed initial team ratings for Madden 11 in an exclusive article posted on Gamespot earlier this evening. These rosters include the addition of rookies and league transactions up to about now (tough to know exact cut off date). Below I have listed the overall ratings for all NFL teams in Madden 11:

  • New Orleans Saints: 92
  • Indianapolis Colts: 91
  • Baltimore Ravens: 90
  • New York Jets: 89
  • Minnesota Vikings: 88
  • Green Bay Packers: 87
  • Dallas Cowboys: 87
  • New England Patriots: 86
  • Cincinnati Bengals: 86
  • San Diego Chargers: 85
  • Pittsburgh Steelers: 84
  • Atlanta Falcons: 83
  • New York Giants: 81
  • Philladelphia Eagles: 80
  • Arizona Cardinals: 79
  • Miami Dolphins: 79
  • San Francisco 49ers: 79
  • Houston Texans: 78
  • Denver Broncos: 78
  • Chicago Bears: 77
  • Tennessee Titans: 77
  • Washington Redskins: 76
  • Carolina Panthers: 75
  • Seattle Seahawks: 75
  • Jacksonville Jaguars: 74
  • Oakland Raiders: 71
  • Kansas City Chiefs: 71
  • Cleveland Browns: 70
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 69
  • Detroit Lions: 68
  • Buffalo Bills: 67
  • St. Luois Rams: 66

Also provided in the article are the changes that have occurred since the final roster update for Madden 10. Based on the initial ratings for Madden 11, the Washington Redskins saw the most drastic increase rising from a 70 to a 76. On the flip slide, the Arizona Cardinals experienced the most drastic decline, falling from an 87 all the way down to a 79.

While these rosters only represent the ratings, the Madden team will continue to provide users on the PS3 and Xbox 360 with roster/ratings updates throughout the course of the NFL season.

Madden 11 is due to hit stores throughout the Boston area on August 10th.

Based on real NFL Power rankings.. Steelers are too high, Id say 82 max for them. ATL would be 84 and SF, being the favorite in the west should be 81-83 at the very least..

i thiink people should be happy with overall ratings.there is not one team 99 rating any team has a given chance to compete with another.every year there is two teams 99.what fun is that.pick a 99 overall and run up and down the field grow up.everyone wants a challenge then they complain cuase they have to think.take the game for what it is and run with it. good job ea for getting it right .
