What do you say about a doll company that started in 1923 and is still going strong in the year 2013? What do you say when a doll company is still keeping up with the demands of doll collectors who have a love for baby dolls; to have and to hold. Or for play dolls, to be cared for by our little ones and who desire playmates for teatime and story telling?

And what's to celebrate for a company that has continued to indulge those of us, who love dolls of the fashionista? Yes, those of us who crave and adore clothes, shoes, accessories, ensembles (hem, hem, me included). What do you say to this company who has met the demands of it's indulgers? We say WELL DONE!

But to whom are we speaking of? Madame Alexander is the who. And for what is to be celebrated here? What’s to be celebrated, is that the Madame Alexander Doll Company, started in 1923 by founder Beatrice Alexander Behrman, is celebrating 90 years, as of this year. Yes 90!

What's even more amazing is that because of the longevity, generations of doll collectors, can have many opportunities to experience the history of Madame Alexander's doll making; to see dolls that have been made throughout the years.

Think of it. To see the many different types of dolls, that Madame Alexander has come up within a span of 90 years. Madame Alexander, what a longevity of doll making. Now that is truly something to celebrate!
