"Mad Men" season 6 will premiere next month and the network released a few black and white sneak peek images on March 5. The trailer is titled, "You're invited to the affair of the year."
The series creator, Matt Weiner, wrote up the preview synopsis for season 6 of "Mad Men" along with the photos seen in the trailer.
In a Monday report, Weiner wrote this:
"To be able to continue exploring the stories of these characters for a sixth season is an amazing opportunity. We love mining this world and look forward to bringing the audience stories that we hope will continue to both surprise and entertain them."
In the "Mad Men" season 6 preview, characters Don Draper, Megan Draper, Betty Francis, Roger Sterling, Joan Harris, Pete Campbell, and Sally Draper are all dressed in formal wear. Don's daughter, Sally, is growing up before everyone's eyes as seen in the picture all dressed up. The cast appears to be at a party where they indulge in drinking and mingling.
What will happen in "Mad Men" this season? When the show ended last season, it looked like Don might be tempted by another woman. How long will it be before he cheats on Megan? There's sure to be a lot of surprising storylines ahead when "Mad Men" starts again!
Season 6 of "Mad Men" begins Sunday, April 7 on AMC with a two-hour premiere episode at 9 p.m., ET. It will move to its normal time at 10 p.m. after the first episode.
