Mad Cow Theatre and Valencia College Theater Designers' Roundtable

Mad Cow Theatre and Valencia College Theater are excited to announce Designers' Roundtable based on their productions of The Drowsy Chaperone.  This event is Free and Open to the Public.  A Designers' Roundtable: A Creative Look into The Drowsy Chaperone, Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Valencia Community College East Campus.  Presented in partnership with Valencia College.
 
Central Florida is presented with a unique opportunity with both Valencia and Mad Cow Theatre producing The Drowsy Chaperone simultaneously this fall.  While the scripted word is the same, you can be assured that both theaters will create two unique performances for audiences to enjoy.  Join us for a discussion with the technical masterminds behind each production as we discuss how Valencia and Mad Cow Theatre will design the same production under distinctly different visions that hold true to each organizations creative mission.  Tickets: This event is "free and open to the public".  Location: Valencia College East Campus 701 N Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, FL 32825 in the Performing Arts Center.
 
Mad Cow Theatre presents The Drowsy Chaperone, with book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar and music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison plays October 14 through November 20, 2011 in Mad Cow Theatre's intimate Stage LeftBob Brandenburg makes his Mad Cow Theatre directing debut with The Drowsy Chaperone.  The cast includes Michelle Knight as The Drowsy Chaperone (The Butter and Egg Man, Guys and Dolls and My Fair Lady with the Orlando Philharmonic),  Steven Lane as Man in the Chair (Legacy of Light, Freud's Last Session), and Andrea Stack as Janet van de Graaff .  Chris Burns (Guys and Dolls), Shawn Kilgore (Company), and Ashland Thomas (Urinetown). New to the herd are David Bracamonte, Seandrea Earls, Billy Flanigan, Bob Lipka, Jamie Lowe, Francie Moon, and Ashley Willsey.
 
Lulu Picart joins the team as Musical Director, with choreography by Myles Thoroughgood, scenic design by Rebecca Lee, and lighting design by John HemphillJamie Lyn Woods is the stage manager.
