Macy's has partnered up with some of today's hottest celebs to launch new and exciting apparel lines. On Aug. 25, Macy’s and American Rag unveiled the limited edition “Mad Picks” capsule collection by Good Charlotte’s Benji and Joel Madden, available in select Macy’s stores and Macys.com.
Good Charlotte has been gearing up to release their fifth album, Cardiology, on November 2, but before that, the Madden brothers wanted to stick their feet in the fashion world.
Along with the launch of the collection, Benji and Joel Madden will be rocking out to a series of five free concert events in Macy’s stores across the country this fall.
Commenting on the collaboration process, Benji Madden said, “Macy's and American Rag have always been places we have looked to for new trends and stylish clothing so it was exciting to be working with retailers where we would normally shop.”
Though the brothers already have a fashion line, DCMA, this is their first collab with a major retailer. The rock-n-roll collection features their favorite pieces from American Rag, including denim, embellished tops, and boho vests. Wonder if Nicole has any influence on the designs?

Shows kick off at 2 p.m. in the Macy's juniors department and include autograph signings and a sweepstakes to win tickets to Good Charlotte's upcoming tour. Anyone who makes a $50 purchase will get VIP access to meet Benji and Joel and a download card for an acoustic version of Good Charlotte's new single, "Like It's Her Birthday."
