Macy's celebrates Gordon Parks

Boogie down at Macy’s as the retail titan celebrates the iconic photographer Gordon Parks. On February 16th, the party starts at 2 pm with a children’s program “Design Your Own Book” dedicated to Black History Month. Then at 3pm join actor and director Eriq LaSalle in a conversation moderated by CBS Better Mornings News Anchor Tracye Hutchins on Parks’ influence on film and the future of Black Cinema. Parks was the first African American to direct a Hollywood feature film based on his novel the Learning Tree. Other panelists include Arnika Dawkins, owner of Arnika Dawkins Gallery, and international photographer Darrell Lane.
