'Fashion Rocks' announces performances from Afrojack and J-Lo

On Sept. 2, it was announced that the multi-platinum selling electronic music artist Afrojack would be a part of the extraordinary talent at the upcoming “Fashion Rocks” event which is set to be held on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 9 p.m. at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. As a special production of Three Lions Entertainment and Don Mischner, the event will be broadcast live via CBS television network and will feature performances by: Afrojack, Jennifer Lopez, Usher, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Miranda Lambert, KISS, Duran Duran, The Band Perry, Rita Ora, Jennifer Hudson, MAGIC!, Nico & Vinz, and many more.

Hosted by executive producer Ryan Seacrest, the event will celebrate the unification between the fashion and music industry. Macy’s, the official retail partner of "Fashion Rocks" will be featuring its fall fashion trends in addition to Seacrest’s own Ryan Seacrest Distinction line which will be featured throughout the evening’s show. For the first time, select fashions from the runway will be available for viewers across the country to “shop live” via Macys.com/FashionRocks. Additionally, fans watching the television broadcast will have access via Shazam to a “Fashion Rocks” experience, which will include more of Macy’s exclusive trends and fashions this fall.

As part of Macy’s partnership and their benevolence to the local community, Macy’s will be offering fans special access to the live performance at the Barclays Center by purchasing a Macy’s VIP pass package. 100 percent of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. In purchasing the tickets, fans will be benefiting an important cause while they enjoy access to a special pre-party and after-party at the renowned 40/40 club and will also enjoy a yet to be announced guest performance as well as complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
