Looking for a Christmas present for yourself or someone you know who'd love a photographic portrait of themselves with their beloved pet? Have we got a deal for you! Pack up your pet and head out to Dance Works Studio Dec. 18 for a special professional photography session. The event is from 2 to 7 p.m. and you can purchase high quality prints online in 72 hours or less, in plenty of time for Christmas giving.
The sitting fee is $25 in advance and $30 the day of the photo shoot. You can have a photo taken of you with your pet, or your pet alone.
CJ Rena Photography is donating half of each sitting fee to On Borrowed Time, a hardworking group of residents in the Macon area (and beyond) who are dedicated to saving homeless pets at Macon Animal Control's shelter. Donna Arledge Segelken takes photos of the animals at Macon Animal Control to post on the Facebook page and PetHarbor.com, and others volunteer, donate food and other items, help with transporting animals and support both Macon Animal Control and the rescuers who pull from there.
Neither CJ Rena Photography nor On Borrowed Time are non-profit groups, so the sitting fee is not tax-deductible. However, at this special price and the chance to help out a group that helps so many rescue groups and animals in Macon, we are hard-pressed to think of a better holiday bargain.
We are just trying to do a good deed right before Christmas to help out a great group of people who work every day to try to saves the lives of some innocent animals that are on death row without ever having even done anything wrong. - CJ Rena Photography
Photo prints are $5 and up, depending on what size photo you order. Package deals are also available. Another 10 percent of all print orders will also go to On Borrowed Time. Check out the website for details.
