Macomb Township Flagstar bank robbed

The Macomb Daily reported today that the Macomb County Sheriff is asking the public to help identify a man who robbed a bank in Macomb Township Saturday, April 5.

The Sheriff's office said the Flagstar bank at 20355 Hall Road, west of Heydenreich Road, was robbed today shortly after noon. The robber walked to the teller and passed a note demanding money The teller surrendered an undisclosed amount of money to the robber. The robber then left the bank running in a northwesterly direction.

Sheriff Wickersham described the robber as approximately six-feet tall, average weight and about 50 years old. The black male was wearing all black clothing including a black hat and was carrying a black duffel bag.

The Sheriff’s office has released two pictures from the surveillance video and both are available at the newspaper website.
