Teen Mom reality television star Maci Bookout reportedly owes the IRS $78,308 in unpaid taxes from 2011. In Touch Magazine has obtained a copy of a tax lien issued against Maci. “We have made demand for payment of this liability, but it remains unpaid,” the official document stated. “Therefore, there is a lien in favor of the United States on all property and rights to property belonging to this taxpayer for the amount of these taxes, and additional penalties, interest, and costs that may accrue.” A source close to Maci stated to In Touch that Maci is "Currently Unemployed." and "She's in denial, she needs to find a way to pay back this money, she's gotten herself into a lot of trouble."
Bookout has been no stranger to putting her life out on social media, specifically her Instagram account where she is constantly uploading pictures of herself taking numerous vacations, flying all over and partying. She is also an advocate for tattoos, hair extensions, spray tans and professionally done nails, salon services and other beauty treatments which all add up.
According to sources Maci's only income is from promoting products to her 1.27 million Twitter followers. Also, there have been numerous rumors that Teen Mom will be returning to television again shortly. Maybe MTV will end up helping her with her tax predicament.
