As the saying goes the bigger they are the harder they fall, this will hold true for all six of the gaming corporations that control the Macau gaming market. Between January and August of this year the some 34 casinos in Macau saw an overall increase in revenue up 63 percent. Companies like SJM had personal increases amounting to more than double than that of last year and Wynn Macau was up 80 percent from last year as well.

One question that many have is: Will Las Vegas lose its status as the biggest gambling destination in the world? Well it all depends who you ask, however many experts believe that Macau may very hold this title even without all the extra entertainment and amenities that Las Vegas has to offer.

As a result of the massive revenue increase in Macau for the first half of 2010 many experts believe that the second half of the year will bring much lower numbers as the marketing plans starts to lose there appeal and luster. One of the marketing ideas that help to contribute to the large revenue increase was the idea to offer Baccarat table that had very high payouts to winning players.

If a few more great ideas can be implemented then it could be possible for revenue to continue on its current path, however a decrease in the current housing market in

China seems to be having an impact as numbers are already falling as evident by the low numbers in August and a not to promising start in September.
