Mac Miller’s ‘Dope’ reality special coming to MTV2

If Wiz Khalifa’s got now, it would only seem fitting that Mac Miller would have next. Recently named Complex magazine’s “Man of Next Year”, there are high expectations for Pittsburgh’s born and bred son, Mac Miller to follow Khalifa’s trail in bringing further exposure to the Steel City’s hip hop scene. Arguably the most successful white rapper since the emergence of that other rapper with double M initials, Miller has the opportunity to do just that with his upcoming six-part reality series “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family”, set to premiere on MTV2 on Tuesday February 24 at 11:30 p.m.

The show follows the Point Breeze native and his “Dope Crew”, consisting of his bodyguard Big Dave, and childhood friends, Quentin, Jimmy and Peanut, as they navigate the ins and outs of Mac’s hectic showbiz schedule with studio time and non-stop shenanigans. Viewers will also have to opportunity to catch Miller as he makes his way back to where it all started in Pittsburgh, in a homecoming episode of sorts.

Tune in on Tuesday nights as the “Donald Trump” emcee rubs elbows with the likes of Odd Future and Miley Cyrus, all while ripping and running through the Hollywood Hills on MTV2’s “Mac Miller and the Most Dope Family.”
