MAC Cosmeticsis a popular brand that many women and teenage girls are going to for all their beauty needs. The cosmetic company has launched some pretty amazing collections in the past, including an upcoming collaboration with Internet beauty bloggers that will only be released via their website. Their newest collaboration with Gareth Pugh is causing a lot of buzz and attention.
For those unfamiliar, Pugh is known for his runway looks that are gothic-inspired, which he creates with makeup artist Alex Box. During his ‘Goddess from the Grave’ Spring 2010 show, Pugh featured models wearing a more deathly grey complexion. To create the look he used MAC’s airbrushed application using a combination of Black & White Micronized Airbrush Foundation.
Now Pugh and MAC Cosmetics are teaming up for a complete line of makeup that will hit stores in November, according to reports on Style Clone. The makeup collection is expected to have a variety of products and accessories. The colors and designs will focus mainly on his favorites, which are black, white and grey. Any women who love creating a smoking eye will sure love this collection.
The collection will make its debut at the launch party in New York City next month, followed by the designer’s show in October in Paris.
Mac Cosmetics can be purchased at Mac free standing stores, the MAC pro store on Armitage in Chicago and department stores like Macy's, Nordstrom and Bloomingdales in Chicago.
