Growing up I loved Archie comics so you can imagine my surprise when I found out that MAC was releasing a special limited edition called Archie’s Girls inspired by Betty and Veronica. The set was released officially on February 7th, (where was I??) shows off Betty’s natural sweetness and Veronica’s vampy side. With graphics of the iconic comic characters, Archie, Betty and Veronica on every item this is one limited edition set that is too good to pass up.
For the Archie’s Girls Collection, Betty’s collection features fun bubbly colors that are ultra girly and peppy just like she was, the epitome of the girl next door. Three lipsticks are featured, Girl Next Door (pink), Betty Bright (peach) Oh, Oh, Oh (brown) as well as three lipglasses; Summer Sweetheart (light pink), Stay Sweet (lavender) and Kiss & Don’t Tell (coral peach) and two nail lacquers Comic Cute in bright coral and Pep Pep Pep in light peach. Also available is the Betty Pigment a highly concentrated loose colored powder in Cheers My Dear (pink) and Lucky in Love (turquoise), Betty Opulash Optimum Black mascara and Betty Powder Blush in coral. An eyeshadow quad called Caramel Sundae with four shades, Cheryl Chic (frosted pink), Showstopper (matte brown), Caramel Sundae (satin tan) and Dreammaker (frosty yellow) is also available.
Spoiled rich girl Veronica is showcased in the Archie’s Girls Collections with smoldering and seductive colors that are as dark and rich as her hair. Three lipglasses are featured, Mall Madness (violet), Feelin’ So Good (blackened plum) and Strawberry Malt (deep red) as well as three lipsticks, Daddy’s Little Girl (plum), Boyfriend Stealer (deep brown/plum), Ronnie Red (red) and two nail lacquers, Past Curfew (burgundy) and Double Trouble (navy blue). Also available is the Veronica Pigment in Black Poodle (plum) and Magic Spell (black), Veronica Opulash intense black mascara and Veronica Powder Blush in pink berry. An eyeshadow quad called Spoiled Girl with shades of Pin-Up Purple (frosted orchid), Spoiled Rich (frosted purple), Gravel (matte charcoal) and Ron Ron Ron (satin navy).
For both Betty and Veronica lovers choose from four different shades of pearlglide intense eyeliners like Lord It Up (brown), Black Swan (black), Petrol Blue (navy) and Designer Purple (purple) or Archie’s Girls PearlMatte Face Powder in two tones Flatter Me (peach) and Veronica’s Blush (pink).
Once you pick which side you’re on Betty’s or Veronica’s, don’t forget all the extra exclusive accessories that come with the Archie’s Girls Collection.
