Calling all Maashionistas! The holiday season is upon us, and there’s no better way to kick it off than a good, old-fashioned shopping party!
Located in the heart of Chicago’s charming Northcenter neighborhood, Maash was born in September 2012 by owner, Sheyla Jarosz, with an eye for style and a heart for the community.
Sheyla cites Christine Sanderson, the brains and the beauty behind one of the city’s premier high-end consignment destinations, Le Thrift, as a primary role model and inspiration.
While managing her own rapidly-growing business, Christine took the time to make the trek up north from Wicker Park to offer valuable customer service and design tips that make such a difference in helping small retailers succeed in a difficult economy.
Female entrepreneurs supporting each other’s endeavors –love, love, LOVE!
Following in the footsteps of Le Thrift, Maash hosts its one-year anniversary and holiday party this year in support of One Hope United. Sheyla felt a connection to the organization’s mission of protecting children and strengthening families. Rather than simply using the occasion as a reason for a celebratory toast and a night out, she is providing guests with the opportunity to give back.
After shopping for gifts for friends and family, dresses, jewelry and accessories for themselves, enjoying complimentary sips and snacks from Big Bricks and Mokato, live music from DJ Kristin, and a fashion show –guests have the opportunity to donate to One Hope. Helping to make this holiday season special for children and families in need.
Come celebrate with us on Thursday… Maashionistas new and old are welcome! The Maash Holiday Party takes place on Thursday, December 5th at 6:00PM. Boutique is located at 3828 N. Lincoln.
