Each look on the 2014 runway collection was styled with high chunky heel booties that gave a edgy contrast to the otherwise whimsical prints and ruffled bikini tops. Several models strutted out in pirate inspired; hats, head wraps, eye patches and wrist cuffs that enhanced the element of fantasy.
Standout pieces were a lightweight allover print sporty zip-front jacket paired with high cut swim bottoms and a underwire bustier bathing top looked so ultra va va voom paired with a printed contrast color bottom. Many of the bikinis were topped off with modern crisp blazers, not a traditional look at all, but added an element of surprise. The high cuts and updated silhouettes were eye catching and clearly had a more fashion forward Latin design influence compared to the more conservative American brands.
Each look displayed a creative mix of colors; play on neutrals mixed with washed out yellows, purples, apple and lime greens, contrasting prints and pops of aqua trim zippers.
