Daredevil feats and dancing equines combine to entertain horse lovers next April at the 2014 Midwest Horse Fair. Ma’Ceo, a traveling show from Cavallo Equestrian Arts, will perform at the popular equestrian expo in Madison.
What is Ma’Ceo?
With a multi-generational heritage in circus and equestrian training, Ma’Ceo performances mix aerial acrobatics, bareback riding, Cossack riding, gypsy lore, traditional dressage, trick riding, and vaulting.
“It is our dream to show the world the relationship we share with our horses, and the sheer excitement that they bring to all the lives they touch,” Olissio Zoppe, Ma’Ceo Show Director and owner of Cavallo Equestrian Arts, explained.
Featuring multiple equine breeds, the troupe has participated in shows with Arabian Nights, Cavalia, Cirque Du Soleil, Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus, renaissance faires, and other events.
Ma’Ceo will set up a special performance tent at the Midwest Horse Fair for multiple shows during the three-day weekend expo. Special tickets will be required to see Ma’Ceo, in addition to Midwest Horse Fair admission passes.
Themed “Horse Tales,” the 2014 Midwest Horse Fair takes place April 11-13 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
