M83 debuts new song 'StarWaves' from the 'Oblivion' soundtrack

On March 6 Anthony Gonzalez, the frontman for the French electronic band M83 debuted his new composition entitled, "StarWaves" on Rolling Stone's website. The track is from the "Oblivion" soundtrack, and you can listen to "StarWaves" here.

M83's Anthony Gonzalez scored the "Oblivion" soundtrack with composer Joseph Trapanese. The track "StarWaves" is the first composition to be revealed from the soundtrack. This is not the first time the pair have worked together because back in 2011 M83 released their double album, "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming" which contained five songs that had orchestral arrangements by Trapanese.

The science fiction alien invasion movie, "Oblivion" stars Tom Cruise and it is set to hit theaters in the U.S. on April 12. The "Oblivion" soundtrack is set to be released on April 9 via Back Lot Records.
