The classic artifact creature Triskelion is back in Magic: The Gathering's 2011 Core Set, as an expensive 4/4 with a lot of flexibility. Triskelion also has a great new friend, Steel Overseer, in M11 - Don't leave those two together for long or you'll be facing an artifact apocalypse that won't be easy to beat.

Artifact Creature - Construct Rare
Triskelion enters the battlefield with three +1/+1 counters on it.
Remove a +1/+1 counter from Triskelion: Triskelion deals 1 damage to target creature or player.
1/1
The last time Magic players got to play with Triskelion was Mirrodin, and it's always sort of fulfilled the same role - firing off colorless rounds of one damage bursts to clean out small creatures or finish off large ones. At six mana, Triskelion is relatively expensive for a 4/4 creature, but you're paying for the versatility, and the fact that as an artifact you can toss Triskelion into any deck.
Triskelion can be played as a pricey 4/4 (You can get Stone Golem in M11, a vanilla 4/4 artifact creature for the bargain price of 5) or an ideal choice to pick off targets that can pose a threat with one toughness in M11 - Cards like Stormfront Pegasus, Child of Night, Liliana's Specter, Nantuko Shade, Royal Assassin, Goblin Tunneler, Prodigal Pyromancer, Awakener Druid,or even to finish off a damaged planeswalker.
Triskelion doesn't have all the high profile targets in M11 that it would have had in Rise of the Eldrazi, but Triskelion's still a very malleable rare artifact creature that can be inserted into any deck for results, making it a solid choice in draft and a definite play in a sealed deck pool.
