Very exciting spoiler developments from Magic: The Gathering's M11 - we've got our hands on one of the latest green common creatures, Garruk's Companion.  It seems like Wizards is definitely going for some  very strong planeswalker branding, as many new cards featured in M11 carry the names and images of Chandra, Jace, and more.  On to Garruk's Companion:

Garruk's Companion GG
Creature - Beast Common
Trample (If this creature would assign enough damage to its blockers to destroy them, you may have it assign the rest of its damage to defending player or planeswalker.)
3/2

It's safe to say that the power level of M11 cards is straight out of the stratosphere in comparison to previous core sets.   Garruk's Companion raises the bar pretty high for a green common creature, weighing in as a much, much bigger Grizzly Bear for the same price (though more color specific).

Garruk's Companion is serious business and really sends a strong message - green is the creature color and they're getting some really good creatures.  If Garruk's Companion is what we're seeing for green creatures in the common slot, you better get ready for some awe-inspiring green behemoths coming when the rare spoilers start rolling in.

More M11 spoilers are on the way, and if Garruk's Companion is any indicator prepare for some beastly green additions to the roster!

Spoilers incoming! Check out the latest on M11!
