M.I.K.E. 'World Citizen' album to be released February 22

Belgian trance DJ Mike Dierickx aka M.I.K.E. announced today the release date for his new album "World Citizen," "World Citizen" will be released on Feb. 22 from High Contrast Recordings / Be Yourself Music. This will be M.I.K.E.'s first artist album in nearly five years since releasing "Moving On In Life" in 2007. The 23 track album will be available worldwide on Beatport, iTunes and Spotify.

Dierickx began his professional career in the 1990s in Antwerp, Belgium. He gained major notoriety in 1998 with the release of "Universal Nation" from Belgian trance label Bonzai Records under his Push alias. The track went on to become a crossover hit garnering numerous dance music awards. "World Citizen" includes two tracks from M.I.K.E. Presents Plastic Boy as well as four tracks from Push including two remixes of "Universal Nation." Today, Dierickx is based in the U.S. and is the defining artist of elec-trance music.
