David M. Lujanac A.K.A. "Blu Collar" is a lyrical composer from Harrisburg Pennsylvania. He is a retired performer of the Harrisburg, PA Doshi Gallery dinner theater from the 1980's. Blu's works have appeared frequently in the Pennsylvania Beacon, a weekly newspaper prominent during that era. He has resurfaced with a new album derived from his poetry and lyric performed by various artists. The album titled: "Take Me Home and Love Me" was released on the Eidol e-music label in October 2013. Various Artists include: Renowned jazz saxophonist Francisco Benetiz, BBC and BBC Wales superstar Sarah Pountney, and explosive rockers "Set the Charge out of New York City". These artists have contributed their vocal talents to Lujanac's latest album which demonstrates great musical chemistry.
The album, "Take Me Home and Love Me", has an easy listening, classic All-American feel with a tasteful mix of Rock, Country, Jazz, and Folk music. From soft, sweet love songs to rowdy revenge-seeking truck drivers to a country boy scoping out the big city", "Take Me Home and Love Me" is a well-rounded album for children, teen, adults, and the boomers!
The beautifully crafted vocals of Sarah Poutney on the song, "The Wire" shows a genuine purity of music that has been lost in today's music industry. This album is refreshing and captivating to hear; it's something you can enjoy with any family member or friend. Sarah's sweet raw vocals are clean and melodic like a perfect seasoning sprinkled over the clean percussion peaking throughout the song.
Mr. Collar has three albums in e-stores: a kid-friendly children's unit, a country album that includes other songwriters and the one that includes "The Wire". He also has two additional albums in production, soon to be released.
