Lynne Curtin is broke, and she is sharing details of her personal life to get spousal support. TMZ reports on Sept. 13 that the former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star is in the process of getting a divorce from Frank Curtin. She claims her jewelry business brings her a limited income.
Lynne and Frank Curtin officially split last year, but she is still fighting for alimony. The former “RHOC” star shares she had to rely on a loan, so she could hire a lawyer for the divorce. Lynne’s financial statement reveals she has $100 in assets and brings in $250 a month from her jewelry business. The housewife claims her expenses are $515 a month.
In July, TMZ uncovered a tax lien, but Lynne’s representatives pointed out she was not aware of one. The lien appears to be related to her income on the “Real Housewives of Orange County.” The representative shared that her attorneys were studying the problem.
Curtin has two children, and the “Real Housewives of Orange County” documented many of the financial issues the family faced. They still owe taxes from 2009, and the bill is estimated to be $30,000. After 22 years of marriage, Lynne claims “it was time to go out on my own.” Frank’s response made it clear he was not in agreement and did not want a divorce. Lynne filed the paperwork in 2012.
