Lynbrook man accused of carjacking.

A Lynbrook man has been arrested, suspected of a carjacking near the Roosevelt Field Mall, in East Garden City, earlier this week.

New York State and Suffolk County police arrested Damien Armella on Thursday. Armella has been charged with attempted murder, assault, robbery, and possession of a weapon.

New York State and Suffolk County police arrested Damien Armella on Thursday. Nassau County police charged the 31-year-old Lynbrook man with attempted first-degree murder, robbery, assault and possession of a dangerous weapon.

Armella's alleged victim was stabbed in the face and head after he refused to get out of the vehicle.
